Kiddos Science Project – Milk Dancing Colors

Long wiken…ga ada rencana kemana2…
Hanya nginep di rmh omi krn ate Nana & ate Vie pd pergi..ada acara…kasian omi sendirian ama bude sri. Nah paginya mau nyoba science project u isi waktu anak2. 

Iseng2 cari2 kids science project di om Google..
Eh nongol stevespangler….
Keren2 projectnya…jadi kaya sulap…tapi dibalik smwa itu ada ilmunya….
Kiddos amazed, happy, ada ilmunya…

Experiment pertama mereka yg kira2 bahan2nya mudah didapat dulu…
Dancing Colors ini bahan2 g perlu disiapin :
1. Susu putih kita pakai susu uht ultra
2. Pewarna makanan aneka warna
3. Piring
4. Sabun cuci piring, kita pakai sunlight
5. Cotton bud

Percobaan pertama
2 piring masing2 1 u abang rayyan 1 u rania
Ternyata pas kita mau coba…banyak temen2nya abang dtg u main…
Alhasil kita bagi 2 kelompok…

Begitu dicelupin cotton bud yg sdh ada sabun cuci piringnya…ternyata hanya punya rania yg warnanya menari2…punya rayyan aga susah…
Hmmm knp ya…mungkin sabun cuci piringya kurang banyak krn tdi stlh dicelup ke sabun cuci piring, banyak yg menetes dr cotton budnya krn abang pegangnya dg posisi kapasnya di bawah. Sementara rania dg posisi kapasnya di atas.
Sebab kedua sptnya krn bag tengah piringnya kurang rata sdikit menonjol. Krn pakai piring plastik.
Tapi kmudian stlh dicoba lagi berhasil…
Dan kuncinya aga sedikit ditekan cotton budnya spy sabun cuci piringnya mengalir dr kapas…spt diperas..
Jadi ini terjadi krn sifat sabun cuci piring yg bipolar…ow kirain manusia aja yg bisa bipolar.
Ternyata sabun cuci piring juga bgitu. Punya dua sifat. Yg pertama sifatnya mengikat air, yg kedua menolak air. Dlm kandungan susu ada lemak, nah lemak ini berupa molekul2, nah cairan sabun nya mengumpulkan molekul lemak2 tsb kecil. Sampai semua molekul lemak terikat. Krn adanya warna maka peristiwa kimia ini bisa terlihat…Makanya ada adegan tarik dorong diwarna2 itu..jadinya kelihatan spt menari…

Tapi aga kurang cepat reaksinya dibanding stevespangler nya…hmmm knp ya..apa keberatan pewarnanya…anak2 netesinnya kbanyakan kayanya…hihihi…

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Milk is mostly water but it also contains vitamins, minerals, proteins, and tiny droplets of fat suspended in solution. Fats and proteins are sensitive to changes in the surrounding solution (the milk).
The secret of the bursting colors is the chemistry of that tiny drop of soap. Dish soap, because of its bipolar characteristics (nonpolar on one end and polar on the other), weakens the chemical bonds that hold the proteins and fats in solution. The soap’s polar, or hydrophilic (water-loving), end dissolves in water, and its hydrophobic (water-fearing) end attaches to a fat globule in the milk. This is when the fun begins.
The molecules of fat bend, roll, twist, and contort in all directions as the soap molecules race around to join up with the fat molecules. During all of this fat molecule gymnastics, the food coloring molecules are bumped and shoved everywhere, providing an easy way to observe all the invisible activity. As the soap becomes evenly mixed with the milk, the action slows down and eventually stops.
Try adding another drop of soap to see if there’s any more movement. If so, you discovered there are still more fat molecules that haven’t found a partner at the big color dance. Add another drop of soap to start the process again.

Krn di sini peran lemaknya…
experiment ini bisa dicoba dg air biasa, susu skimmed, susu dg kandungan lemak yg berbeda2…

Amati perbedaan hasilnya… dg tetap menggunakan sabun cuci piring yg sama.

Eiiiits…stlhnya yuk kita bersihkan lantainya…dan cuci tangaaaaan…hehehe…
